INT. ROOM – AFTERNOON
Inside an unkept room, sits a desk with no other furniture; Food containers, boxes, and papers upside down and on its side, scattered throughout.
Standing next to the desk, dressed like a detective, is Jope, a very odd person.
He sets an item on the desk; He thinks.
Axel, very into details, walks in and stands next to Jope.
AXEL
Everything about this room screams someone who doesn’t really care.
JOPE

Unless it’s something they want to secure so securely that it’s something I have never been able to break into …

Axel looks down at an item that’s tied shut. Oddly looks at Jope then item then Jope.
AXEL
This box … is that what you are referring to … the one tied … with a knot?
JOPE
Never been able to open a tied knot.
AXEL
(puzzled)
So anything else you can … but a tied knot?
Jope thinks.

My fingers are stubby and thick … nails trimmed real low.
Axel weirdly stares at him then the item.
